Derek & Crystal - October 11, 2008 - Victoria, BC

I flew back to Victoria last week to photograph Derek & Crystal's wedding at Olympic View Golf Course.

I was a big fan of the lighting in here.

Crystal abandoned her shoes when they got stuck in the grass!

Thank you Derek & Crystal! It was such a lovely day and I am so thankful that it didn't rain! Also, the company at my table was very nice, I felt honoured to actually have a table to sit at :) I hope you are having a great honeymoon!

Gracie - Toddler

This morning I went to McMinn park with Gracie and her mom and dad. I got quite the work out chasing Gracie around and having fun with her! I am so happy with the outcome of this session... which has been booked and re-booked quite a few times! I am so glad we finally found the right time!

She loved going into the woods.

Elizabeth - 3 months session

Sweet little Elizabeth really made us work for the smiles this afternoon! She loved me when the camera was put away but once it was out she was quite the serious little girl. She is such a sweetheart though, it doesn't matter if she's smiling or not!

After her session I got to hold her for a long time and she ended up falling asleep! I love this girl!

Jen & Scott - Wedding - September 13, 2008

I was away in Calgary all last week, but right before I left I shot Jen & Scott's evening wedding on the rooftop of the Swans Hotel, which overlooks the inner harbour. It was a great location! Their reception was held in the penthouse suite which was filled with such amazing art and antique furniture. I was excited to shoot this wedding from the very first meeting with the couple!

I brought Scott & Jen up to the rooftop for some pictures as the sun was setting.

Back inside, it was fun to play with the light reflecting off the window.

Baby K.

I went to Colin & Lia's house yesterday to meet their little guy. What a sweetie! Colin & Lia had a bunch of ideas for photos, all of which were very personal to them. It was a bit different than I normally do, but I was happy for a change!

Ryland - Newborn

Danielle & Paul came by this morning with their little boy, Ryland. Ryland was born a few weeks early, then I was on vacation, and then I was sick last week! So I've been waiting a little while to meet this little guy. I was expecting a chunky little 5-weeker, forgetting that Ryland was a preemie! He surprised me by being tinier still than most newborns! At 5-weeks he is only just around 6lbs.

What a sweet little guy! He was pretty vocal, letting me know by giving me little grunts of disaproval when I moved him around: How could you be interrupting my nap? Well, Ryland, you were just too cute not to!

Rosalee - 9 months

Words cannot express just how sweet this little girl is.

I can't believe that Rosalee has only 1 session left of her Watch Me Grow package. How can it be almost a year already?
